Declaration for Presidency: Saraki’s indirectly revealing why he held governance hostage for 3 years, Canada-based Anti-Corruption Group warns

“Bukola Saraki, in collaboration with his PDP counterparts and the powers behind the looters of the country’s resources, has been working tirelessly for more than three years to destabilize and collapse Nigeria. They formed caucus in the National Assembly with the main goal of making the country ungovernable for Muhammadu Buhari and to pave the way for Bukola Saraki to emerge as the nation’s president in 2019.

An Ontario, Canada-based anti-corruption organization at the instance of Nigeria has alerted Nigerians and the international community to note that the declaration for presidency by embattled Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki is peak of why for three years he has distabilised Nigeria.

The organistion, Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria Group (BACN) stated this in a message by his President, Mr. Waheed Seriki, sent to The DEFENDER on Friday.

According the message, “The embattled Nigeria Senate President, Bukola Saraki has indirectly revealed the reason and the circumstances why he had held the country hostage and why he determined to collapse the country’s social, economic and political institution for the past three years, by declaring his intention to contest the 2019 presidential election.

“Senator Bukola Saraki had an alternative game plan after he stepped down for President Muhammadu Buhari in the last All Progressives Congress primary election, which eventually led to the election of President Muhamodu Buhari as Nigeria’s President.

“Bukola was not ready to give up his ambition for power and influence when he stepped down.  Part of the  game plan for him to continue to be relevant in Nigerian politics was the strategy he used by campaigning and  blocking Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, from being chosen as President Buhari’s vice president and also the cunning way through which he emerged as the senate president.

“As Saraki succeeded in his first and second game plan, his next action was to make Nigeria ungovernable for President Buhari by ensuring that Muhammadu Buhari and APC party fail in actualizing their positive change programme for the liberation of the country from  16 years of People Democratic Party disastrous rule.

“The Senate President was so blindfolded with his greedy and selfish ambition to be Nigerian president that he does not care if more than 180 million Nigerians continue to suffer for hunger, starvation and poverty as long his ambition is materialized.

“Saraki for the last three years has been working with his group in NASS and powers behind the looters to constantly rubbish, damage and delay government programmes tabled before the Legislature so as to frustrate the Federal Government from rebuilding and setting the country along the right direction.

“Nigerians do not realise in time that Bukola Saraki’s goal and objective in NASS as senate president is “what I don’t get, I will destroy’ so that it will pave the way for him to run as president in 2019 election.

“Bukola Saraki is suffering from Power Hungry Disorder (PHD), which is heredity disease of the mind. Nigerians fail to see this trait in him because the disease is very difficult to identify except the person that has the disorder exhibits the disease either in words or action, or in both.

“Those suffering from this incurable disease (PHD) will not give up their quest for power and influence except they are forced to do so. Unfortunately, it is very difficult if not impossible to halt the power and influence ambition of those suffering from PHD because they are ready to sacrifice the whole nation in their search for power.

“Senator Bukola Saraki is a very dangerous presidential candidate, because his main purpose of why he wanted to be president is his love for power and influence but not to serve the nation and continue to improve the quality of lives of Nigerians, as President Muhammadu Buhari is currently impacting the standard of living of Nigerians.

“It will be very dangerous and disastrous if someone like Bukola Saraki, Rabiu Kwankwaso and their colleagues in PDP were given mandate to run the affairs of Nigeria. They are people driven by power ambition and suffering from Power Hungry Disorder.

“Nigeria as a nation is just getting out of the 16 years of disastrous PDP rule and it will be a social, economic and political suicide, if citizens allow people suffering from PHD disease to either directly or indirectly take over the government from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.

“Nigerians should realise that God wants to use President Buhari to wipe their tears and rebuild the country.  The citizens must use their voters’ cards to prevent any attempt by people suffering from PHD to stop Buhari from continuing in office from 2019 till 2023.

“Nigerian eligible voters must not only ensure they vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019, they should also stand by their votes because the powers behind the looters are very dangerous and they have ill-gotten money to rig the 2019 election.

“The Battles Against Corruption in Nigeria members must ensure they play very active role in their crusade against the looters of our country’s resources and ensure that the likes of Bukola Saraki, Lamido etc that are driven by greedy and selfish power hungry do not win election in Nigeria,” the BACN said in the message sent exclusively to The DEFENDER on the understanding that the online newspaper, by its motto as ‘defending the truth and national integrity’ would give fair airing to it.
