Days after defending Buhari against Obasanjo, Shehu Sani declares monkey swallows N70m belonging to Senators in Adamu’s farm
*As Northern Senators remove ex-Nasarawa governor as Chairman
The N70m handed over to the Northern Senators Forum has been swallowed by monkeys in the farm of a ranking senator.
Shehu Sani (APC, Kaduna) told newsmen minutes after Senator Abdullahi Adamu was removed as the chairman of Northern Senators forum.
Senator Shehu Sani, a member of governing All Progressives Congress (APC), is noted for his activities as ardent critic of the party especially at the state level in Kaduna and on the floors of national assembly.
His allegation against Senator Adamu was coming few days after the former Nasarawa State governor defended President Muhammadu Buhari against the political onslaught launched at him by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Sani himself is on the same page with Obasanjo on the 18-page letter condemning Buhari as failure and that he must not seek re-election.
Senator Adamu was accused of mismanaging N70 million belonging to the Northern Senators Forum.
Shehu Sani said that it was alleged that some monkeys swallowed the money.
He said the money was swallowed by the monkeys at the senator’s farm.
