The publicity Director of Governor Bello Matawalle campaign council, Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki has reiterated the determination of the campaign council, that it won’t allow political thugs and the use of dangerous weapons during the campaign.
Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaliki disclosed this during a press briefing to journalists on the preparation of Flag off campaign at Kaura Namoda in Zamfara North Senatorial district in Gusau.
He said all arrangements has been concluded for the flagging of the campaign.
He further said anti thuggery and security agencies has been informed to arrest and prosecute anyone caught with weapons and also to check thuggery activities during and after the campaigns as APC would not tolerate such behavior.
He also said that various committees has been set up to handle all aspects of the campaign to ensure that everything goes smoothly according to the plan.
He expressed confidence that APC is going to win the election in the State for all its candidates.
He said the campaign would be conducted in the Senatorial districts of the State before moving to all the local governments areas of the State.
He called on journalists to support and ensure adequate and factual report through out the campaign as they would be carried along.
He called on the people of the state to continue to support APC as the ruling party in Zamfara and the country in general.
