DANGOTE REFINERY: Thank you Baba Muhammadu Buhari, for making this happen – Dr Diala
By KEMI KASUMU
Concerned Nigerian, Dr. Uche Diala, has described the success of Dangote Refinery as a feat, after God, made possible by immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari.
He, therefore, thanked the Daura, Katsina State-born former president for making it happen, even if, according to him, Alhaji Aliko Dangote did not thank him.
Buhari, Nigeria’s Military Head of State (January 1984 – August 1985) and two term civilian President (May 29, 2015 – May 29, 2023), inherited Dangote from former President Goodluck Jonathan and built on it until he ensured its completion and commissioning before leaving office.
“Baba Muhammadu Buhari. I think it’s fair and in order to say, if not for you, after God, this feat would not have been achieved today. Definitely not this fast.
“Even if Alhaji Aliko Dangote forgets to thank you, the nation is deeply grateful to you.
“The journey has only just began, with many more rivers to cross.
“Let’s hope and work to continue the journey, from our state owned refineries and onwards,” Dr. Uche Diala wrote in a statement he posted on his Facebook social media platform on Tuesday.
