China urges US to ‘immediately release’ President Maduro, as real reason for US Venezuela coup revealed

“Venezuela, with the world’s largest oil reserves, challenged the $ by selling oil in yuan, euros, rubles, bypassing the $, & building alternative payment channels with China.”
China on Sunday called on the United States to immediately release Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro following a US strike on Caracas that reportedly resulted in his capture.
In a statement, China’s foreign ministry urged Washington to ensure the personal safety of Maduro and his wife and to release them without delay. Beijing also called on the US to cease efforts to topple the Venezuelan government.

The ministry described the strike as a “clear violation of international law,” condemning what it said was US interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs.
In the meantime, the real reason behind the desperate move by US President Donald Trump to invade the sovereign country of South America has been revealed.
According to Richard Werner on X, “The US coup in Venezuela is also to help the petrodollar system, established by Henry Kissinger’s 1974 deal with Saudi Arabia requiring global oil sales in USD, which creates artificial demand for the currency & funds American hegemony – but which has been in its death throes.
“Venezuela, with the world’s largest oil reserves, challenged the $ by selling oil in yuan, euros, rubles, bypassing the $, & building alternative payment channels with China.
“Historical precedents include the overthrow of Saddam Hussein in Iraq for switching to euros, Muammar Gaddafi in Libya for proposing a gold-backed dinar. See my report on the Saudi petro dollar deal at rwerner.substack.com .
“The invasion counters accelerating global de-dollarization led by Russia, China, Iran, and BRICS, as nations shift to non-dollar settlements and alternatives to SWIFT.
“But it signals desperation, potentially hastening the petrodollar’s decline as the Global South resents US reliance on military force to maintain currency dominance.”
After the US captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, North Korean President Kim Jong-un issued a statement warning the United States of a potential world war.
President Jong-un said, “This oppression will lead to a world war.”
He also called on President Donald Trump and US leadership to immediately disclose the fate of his friend, Venezuelan President Maduro, adding, “The Venezuelan president must be released immediately.”
