The United States of America, after a week that it announced the stoppage of its contribution to World Health Organization (WHO), reportedly says it will fund Madagascar herbal remedy believed to cure Coronavirus, Covid-19 with $2.5 million.
The latest controversial ‘cure’ to the pandemic which came from Madagascar, Covid-Organics, is a herbal remedy made from local plants that are also used to cure malaria.
It is believed that the US is doing this as counter effort to China, which influence and popularity are soaring daily as globally acknowledged leading force in the war against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Last week WHO (World Health Organization) said there is no proof that the remedy works while the Presidency claims it has been tested and have cured people.
WHO says the only hope is in a vaccine, but Madagascar said they will not wait for a vaccine and the president has ordered for the remedy to be used for both cure and prevention.
While WHO disaproves the remedy USA ambassador Michael Pelletier said the American goverment will fund Madagascar $2.5 million.
“The contribution of $2,500,000 is additional funding granted to Madagascar as part of the fight against the coronavirus” Michael Pelletier said
“The exclusive allocation of this sum is for the popularization of the national territory of the solutions found”. he added in an address exclusively in Madagascar.
Other local sources say that three teams of Western researchers including Germans, Danish and Americans, have combined their efforts to carry out analysis on the preventive and curative scope of the use of artemisia for the treatment of coronavirus.
Only time will tell whether African remedy will be a solution to a global problem.
The DEFENDER however reports that much as Africa will jump at global acceptance providing solution to health problem in the world, it will not be fooled to be in the midst of a supremacy struggle as it is going on between America and China.
It is on notice that America, which denied till today Nigeria’s discovery of HIV AIDS cure by Dr. Abalaka, has tried lately to continue to maintain its relevance across continents on finding out that China’s influence leading the global war against Coronavirus pandemic grows by the day.
But the world, according to Russia, says it’s finished with it as world leader and that the leadership has shifted.
From our findings, any attempt by America to force itself on any of those former strongholds that have now fallen into China’s influence will spark a serious war that will not be good with Washington.
