The DEFENDER reported earlier that the only and main political godfather at this election, Governor Ayodele Fayose, lost his own Local Government to the opposition candidate Fayemi.

It will be recalled that, despite the louder voice of the opposition about purported losing of popularity, President Muhammadu Buhari has now fully recovered the two states of Ondo and Ekiti that were still under the control of PDP as at the time of his emergence on the ground of personal integrity and popularity.

It is undisputated, it has been said, that President Buhari has now surpassed former President Olusegun Obasanjo in national, su-regional, continental and global popularity and respect.

The DEFENDER reports that it was on the ground of this personal achievement that President went to Ado-Ekiti last Tuesday to ask Ekiti State people that they should support him by voting for Fayemi, just he said to Ondo State people when then election contest was also as tense as the Ekiti and the Ondo State people did not take chances when they gave their votes to Rotimi Akeredolu by over 100,000 victory against his closest co-contestant, PDP’s Eyitayo Jegede.

We will continue to update our readers with further information regarding the process.  In the meantime, the underneath list shows how the elections were won and lost.
