Bola Ajibola to be laid to rest at IMA 4pm

By BASHIR ADEFAKA

The late world citizen, Judge Bola Ajibola, who died in the early hours of today, will be laid to rest in a graveyard he chose for himself on the premises of his most cherished project, Islamic Mission for Africa (IMA), Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, at 4pm today.

Ajibola’s death was announced Sunday morning by his eldest child, Barrister Maruf Asegun Ajibola (SAN).

Currently, former President Olusegun Obasanjo is in a close door meeting with immediate family of the late legal luminary and diplomatic giant, who was once Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom ahead of his janazah, funeral rites.

Obasanjo is the only one of three childhood friends namely Oba Olusanya Adegboyega Dosunmu, who died on the throne as Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Abeokuta, Prince Bola Ajibola and and himself, who is now standing and still much more relevant to the Nigerian nation and the international community.

Prince Bola Ajibola will not be forgotten for his limitless contributions to Nigeria’s development as creator of the nation’s one and only law reforms so far, and world in general.

Condolence calls and messages have continued to trickle in from all over the world with a flash to The DEFENDER by Sultan of Sokoto praying for the repose of his soul in Al-Jannah.
