Bayelsa Police Command commences trial of policemen attacking civilian with stick

The Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police Bayelsa, CP Ben Nebolisa Okolo, has ordered the Provost Marshall of the Command to try policemen seen in a viral video, attacking a civilian with a stick.
They perpetrated the act, described as unruly behaviour, over expired vehicle particulars on Monday 26 September, 2022, at Akenfa, Yenagoa, the state capital.
Orderly room trial has commenced for Inspector Agip Teiwei and Inspector Bedford Emolade, while ASP Peter Frank has been queried, the Command said.
It added that , “The Nigeria Police Force is a disciplined organisation and Bayelsa State Command cannot condone any act of indiscipline by its officers.”
