Awosanya family of Iperu mourns passing of Mother Celestial Mary Fesojaye

The family of late Alhaji Muraina Tijani Awosanya of Iperu, Remo Local Government Area of Ogun State, has announced the passing of their beloved sister and aunt, Mother Celestial Mary Fesojaye, who died at the age of 69, at Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In a statement signed by Mrs Basirat Awosanya Shittu-Adefaka on behalf of the family, the late Mother Fesojaye was described as a woman whose love became a shelter for everyone around her.
According to the statement, she was a devoted Christian, who walked gently with God and reflected His love throughout her life.
Her faith, it noted, was not only expressed in words or prayers, but was demonstrated through action – loving deeply, giving freely, and caring selflessly.
The statement said her life was shaped by rich cultures, strong values, and a deep sense of community, which influenced her lifelong commitment to generosity and resilience.
She was survived by her husband, A/M/S/E J.A FESOJAYE (IJEBU AWA), a former boxer who later became a priest and evangelist in the Celestial Church of Christ, children and grand children.
