Attah of Aiyede Kingdom congratulates Ladoja as new Olubadan of Ibadan Land

“In the history of Aiyede Kingdom, we have strong ties with Ibadan Land; my ancestor, Esubiyi, who settled here after his numerous battles as a great warrior, was an Ibadan General. His legacy as a warrior evolved into one of royalty, and his memory continues to resonate with us,” stated the Attah. 

The Attah and Paramount Ruler of Aiyede Kingdom, Ekiti State, His Royal Majesty Oba Alhaji AbdulMumini Adebayo Orisagbemi, Arojojoye Abolokefa IV, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Imperial Majesty Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja on his recent emergence as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan Land in Oyo State.
In a statement by his Media Office dated Thursday, August 21, 2025, the Attah praised the approval of Ladoja’s nomination by Governor Seyi Makinde, recognizing it as a commendable development that underscores the former Oyo State governor’s exemplary leadership and dedication to his people.
“In the history of Aiyede Kingdom, we have strong ties with Ibadan Land; my ancestor, Esubiyi, who settled here after his numerous battles as a great warrior, was an Ibadan General. His legacy as a warrior evolved into one of royalty, and his memory continues to resonate with us,” stated the Attah.
“This shared history unites us in Ekiti with the admirable people of Ibadan Land, and we are committed to strengthening this bond for the mutual benefit of both kingdoms.”
The esteemed monarch also expressed optimism for a harmonious relationship with Oba Ladoja in his new role as Olubadan. “I pray for his long reign marked by peace, good health, and prosperity,” he added.
Moreover, the senior Ekiti monarch congratulated Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for successfully fulfilling the aspirations of the people in approving Ladoja’s nomination by Olubadan-in-Council as the new Olubadan.
