Aso Rock imam urges support against graft, insecurity

The imam of the State House mosque, Sheik Abdulwaheed Sulaiman, yesterday asked Muslims and Christians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in the fight against corruption and insecurity as well as in seeking economic recovery and national prosperity.

He made the call in his juma’at sermon to the congregation comprising President Muhammadu Buhari, Kaduna and Ogun State governors Nasir El-Rufai and Ibikunle Amosun as well as ministers and some members of the National Assembly.

Sheik Sulaiman also advised Muslims and Christians in the country to unite as brothers and sisters. He asked them to be kind and hospitable to one another, reminding them:  “We all belong to God and to Him we will be going back.”

The cleric prayed for the good health and wellbeing of the president as well as the progress of the nation.
