APC revises time-table for primaries

Nigeria’s ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced review of the table-table for the conduct of its 2018 primary elections.

National Organising Secretary of the party, Mr. Emma Ibediro, disclosed this in a statement he released in Abuja on Wednesday, copy of which was sent to The DEFENDER.

According to Ibediro, the review was based on the approval by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

By the approval, the first to hold will be Presidential Primary Election coming on the 25th September, 2018 while the Governorship Primary Election holds on 29th September, 2018.

Other elections will hold in the following sequence: Senate Primary Elections 2nd October, 2018; House of Representatives Primary Elections 3rd October, 2018; State House of Assembly Primary Elections 4th October, 2018 and National Convention (Presidential) rounds up the whole exercise on 6th October, 2018.
