APC carpets PDP in Kaura Namoda South Assembly bye-election

The Independent electoral commission has declared APC candidate Saidu Kamilu as the winner of the bye election held on Saturday and Thursday following a rerun election.

The returning officer of the election professor Lawal Saidu of the Federal University Gusau said, the APC candidate Kamilu has met the constitutional requirements haven score the highest number of votes becomes elected
He further said APC candidate scored 8182 votes while PDP candidate scored 5544 votes
