Another terrorist attacks kill mother, 4 children, 2 others in Anambra

Another terrorist attacks have occurred in Anambra, South East Nigeria on Sunday, reportedly, killing no fewer than seven persons in different parts of state.

These were happened hours after the killing of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s Aguata Constituency II representative in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Okechukwu Okoye, who was beheaded following his kidnap along with his aide, Cyril Chiegboka, on Sunday, along Aguluzigbo road, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state.

Among the the victims of the fresh attacks was a mother and four of her children at Isulo, Orumba North Local Government Area.

According to a media source, the other two killed were at Abatete in Idemili North Local Government Area, while another man was killed at Nanka Orumba North Local Government Area.

Anambra Police spokesman, Ikenga Tochukwu, could not confirm the incidents stating details were sketchy, the report said.

He said the Command would talk on the incidents on Monday when they must have got the clear picture of what transpired.

However, one of the Senior Police Officers in the State, who did not want to be quoted, told The Nation that the Isulo incident was true.
