What appears to be another clampdown on position has occured as hoodlums suspectedly working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) attack and set the secretariat of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on fire in Ebiti State.
More sadly, according Our Reporter, is that this arson occurred while the arrangement for the inauguration of the party’s state executive council was to hold at the burnt building.
Properties affected included 1000-capacity canopy with chairs, another 150 capacity canopy and parts of the building Secretariat that was torched by hoodlums.
Members of the party condemned the action as they called on security agencies to fish out those responsible for the act.
The party loyalists are currently gathering at the Basiri road in Ado Ekiti, where the secretariat is located and waiting for their national officers, who are expected to inaugurate the new executive members in the state.
