Almakura lauds Nasarawa APC over successful governorship primaries, as Senatorial primaries hold Wednesday

Governor Tanko Almakura  of Nasarawa State has commended the conduct of party supporters and delegates for the success of the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Primaries which produced Engr. A.A. Sule as the party’s flag bearer in the 2019 general elections.

The governor gave this commendation in Lafia while announcing the postponement of the Nasarawa APC Senatorial Primaries to Wednesday, saying that the postponement was due to logistics in bringing materials from the National Secretariat of the Party.

Almakura lauded the participation at the Governorship primaries by all especially the contestants who supported the process and stood by the results, stating that it has made the Nasarawa APC the envy of other state for its smooth, rancor free and transparent exercise.

The Governor gave prayers for the souls of some APC delegates who lost their lives in an accident Monday, requesting for added prayers for those that were injured,  directing that the injured be transferred to Abuja for further treatment.

He called on party supporters and delegates to remain resolute and stand firm with the party and its ideals assuring them that with their support the party would carry out very successful primaries and win all election in 2019.
