AKWA IBOM REPORT: Gov Umo Eno receives Nigerian Immigration Service’s top officials in audience

Top echelon of the Nigerian Immogration Service (NIS) paid a courtesy visit on the vibrant Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on Friday.

In a post via his verified Facebook social media page on Saturday, Governor Eno said he received his aughust visitors, led by their Acting Comptroller-General of Immigration, Ag. CGI Caroline Wura-Olu Adepoju, in his office in Uyo, the state capital.

According to the Governor, “Yesterday, I received the top hierarchy of the Nigeria Immigration Service ( NIS) led by the Ag—Comptroller General Caroline Wura-Olu Adepoju at the EXCO Chambers, Government House, Uyo.

“It was a pleasure to welcome them as part of their familiarization tour of NIS formations across our State.

“I used the opportunity to thank the NIS, for their outstanding contributions to the security of our State, especially the coastal areas, alongside other security agencies.

“As Ibom Air prepares for regional flights, the NIS will play a critical role in processing visitors to our State,” he said.
