Akorede commiserates with Adefakas over patriarch’s demise

The Chief Imam of Akure Kingdom, Sheikh AbdulHakeem Yayi Akorede, commiserated with the entire family of Alhaji Kasumu Yesufu Adefaka, whose sad passing took place on Saturday January 4, 2024 at the age of 104.

Sheikh Akorode, who led the janazah prayer of the late former banker, cocoa produce official and Galadima of Akure Land at the state capital’s Central Mosque same day, later took to his verified official Facebook timeline on Monday to formally mourn the centinarian.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. May Almighty Allah (SWT) grant eternal peace to the departed soul of our Baba Alhaji Yusuf Adefaka (Nee Galadinma).

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families May Allah comfort the entire Akure Muslim communities and the families.

“May Almighty Allah continue to be with the entire Adefaka’s Family. Aameen,” Akorede said.
