Ajimobi’s 8th day fidau prayer holds today – Media Aide

The eighth day fidau prayer of late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, holds today, Sunday July 5, 2020.
This is according to a statement issued yesterday by his Media Aide, Mr. Bolaji Tunji, who said in observing the protocols of Coronavirus as measures to save lives, the event will be strictly a family affair.
He, however said the fidau will be covered live on NTA and streamed on this link: https://linktr.ee/ajimobiliveson from 11am.
The statement said, “The 8th day Fidau prayers for His Excellency, Senator Ishaq Abiola Adeyemi Ajimobi will hold tomorrow (Sunday), July 5, 2020 in Ibadan.
“In line with Covid-19 protocols as laid down by NCDC, the event will strictly be a family affair.
“However, there will be a live coverage of the event on NTA from 11am onwards. Please note, the event will also be streamed on the link below: https://linktr.ee/ajimobiliveson”. Bolaji Tunji said.
Ajimobi died on Thursday June 25, 2020 in a Lagos hospital, after he was treated for Coronavirus infections and later tested negative.
He was buried on Sunday June 28, 2020 in accordance with Islamic rites at his Oluyole Estate in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The DEFENDER reports that more than ever before, Ajimobi began to be more committed to the services of Allah towards the end of his life, even at the tail end of his administration having. He was Oyo State governor for eight years between May 29, 2015 through May 29, 2019.
