Adefaka Royal Family salutes Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Akure South on 7th coronation anniversary

“Our royal father, We greet you on this day that is of you and all of us. For the chunk of years that our father, Alhaji Prince Kasumu Yesufu Daniel Adefaka, spent with us towards his last breathe on the earth, he told us specifically that ‘a new King has emerged as Osolo of Isolo Kingdom’ and so that we should pay homage to him because he is our royal father.”
The Adefaka Royal Family, Akure South Local Government, Ondo State has congratulated its royal father and Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, on the occasion of his seventh coronation anniversary on the throne.
The Family, which is a branch ultimately of Abibiri Ruling House of Isolo Kingdom, paternally, and well connected branch of Ojijigogu Ruling House of Akure Kingdom, maternally, in Akure South, described the seven years of Oba Adewole as one that has brought succour and ray of light to the Isolo autonomous township community in Ondo State.
According to a statement jointly signed by Chairman of The Adefaka Royal Family, Prince Babatunde Saliu Abiodun Adefaka, and the Family’s Secretary/Public Relations Officer, Prince Bashir Olorunkemi Adefaka, the Osolo was told to continue the good work he started as God will use good and sincere sons and daughters of the land as well as very resourceful external personalities to back him up for the progress and development of Isolo Kingdom.

“The Baba Oba of Isolo passed on January 4 this year, 2025, and since then, you have never let us feel the absence of him as our father. We love you, we cherish you and we will continue project you to the world as father in a million, whose hearth is pure and filled with love towards all. As such, we seize this occasion of your seventh year anniversary on the throne of your ancestral fathers to say congratulations and tell you publicly that we are proud of you as our King.”
“While we celebrate you as the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom today, may we also seize the opportunity afforded us by the occasion to appreciate the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his full support to the peace of all kingdoms in Ondo State Akure South Local Government inclusive.
“We would not forget to remember the preceding Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, now late, with whom Governor Aiyedatiwa built the peaceful and well secured Ondo State we are happily celebrating today. May the family left behind by him never go into extinction.”
The Adefaka Royal Family prayed that Oba Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, will live long on the throne of his ancestors.
