ELECTION: Tambuwal congratulates Yabo/Shagari Rep over court victory

Immediate past Governor of Sokoto State and sitting Senator representing Sokoto South at the Nigeria’s National Assembly, His Excellency Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Matawallen Sokoto, has congratulated Honourable Umar Yusuf Yabo, DanMajen Yabo, who emerged winner of the post-election litigation that climbed to the Court of Appeal until the final judgment was delivered on Friday August 24, 2024.
Senator Tambuwal described the victory as testament to the will of the people respected.
“I join the Sokoto State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party and the @officialpdpnigeria to congratulate Hon. Umar Yusuf Yabo (DanMajen Yabo), member representing Yabo/Shagari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the affirmation of his election victory by the Court of Appeal today.
“This victory is a testament that the will of the people has been respected in line with the democratic tenets of our dear country.
“It is my prayer that the Almighty Allah SWT will guide him in justifying the trust placed in him by his constituents,” he said.
