EID-UL-ADHA: Hon Jaji distributes 3,000 rams, N250m in Zamfara

A Member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara State, Hon Dr Aminu Sani Jaji, has purchased 3,000 rams for distribution to people especially supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.
Similarly, the lawmaker, who doubled as the Chairman House Committee on Ecological Fund, also earmarked the sum of N250 million for distribution to deserving individuals, orphans and vulnerable groups across the state as Eid-ul-Adha welfare packages.
The gesture aimed to assist Muslim faithful, especially the APC members and lesprivileged families to perform sacrifices and celebrate festival in happy mood.
The beneficiaries include prominent personalities in the state, various categories of former political appointees, APC State Executives, Local Government and Wards Executives of the Party, State APC Elders, former Directors General Forum, Former Local Government Councils Chairmen and Vice Chairmen Councils Councillors Forum as well as various categories of APC Associations and other party stakeholders.
Other beneficiaries include Islamic Scholars in the state,
State Executives of Jajiyya Political Movement across the state, orphans, APC Supporters, youths and women groups among others.
Meanwhile, the breakdown of the beneficiaries of N250 million donated by Hon Dr Aminu Sani Jaji include former Political Offices Holders across the state, Islamic scholars and Qur’anic reciters both state, local Governments, as well as Ward Executives of Jajiyya Political Movement across the state
The gesture also to be extended to the various APC stakeholders across the 147 Political Wards in the 14 Local Government Areas of the state.
According to Aminu Sani Jaji, his constituents of Kaura-Namoda and Birnin Magaji will receive a special package of both Rams and Cash.
The lawmaker explained that the Sallah welfare package was part of his annual gesture to uplift the spirits and alleviate financial burden of Muslims in the state during the Sallah festivals.
Hon Aminu Jaji called on Muslims faithfuls to use the 10 Days of Zulhijjah and Eid-el-kabir period to intensify prayers for the sustainable peace and stability in the state and country as a whole.
