Lagos natives celebrate Gen Olanrewaju at 78

Former Minister of Communications, Major General Tajudeen Olanrewaju (Rtd), has been congratulated on his birthday anniversary as he clocks 78 on Wednesday May 8, 2024.
Congratulating the Retired General was De Renaissance Patriots Foundation, a socio-cultural organisation established to lead a better society for Lagos State indigenes, which he collaborated with other notable natives to found last year.
According to an exclusive goodwill message sent to The DEFENDER, issued and signed by President of the Foundation, Prince Adelani Adeniji-Adele, General Olanrewaju was a strong factor in that direction.
The statement read, “Just thinking about this Gentleman and officer fills us in De Renaissance Patriots Foundation with a sense of pride and deep motivation in our cause for a better state for the indigenes of Lagos State.
“Gen. Tajudeen Olanrewaju (Gasper) comes with a lot of guts, courage, high responsibility and a track record of service to the nation.
“As he celebrated his birthday today, we cannot but wish him well and more good healthy lives ahead.
“With lots of drive and passion, he along with all of us in De Renaissance Patriots Foundation recognize that the indigenes need patriots to survive the onslaught being meted out to us and we decided to establish that vehicle to promote our ideals knowing that Lagos state of old has more message and meaning to our youths and generations to come.
“A need to arrest the deteriorating situation was birthed and Gen. Olanrewaju was a strong factor in that direction and he stood to be counted as a PATRIOT, a Renaissance Patriot.
“We know the struggle is a long haul and with the General, we are battle ready. Indigenes will have their rights fully restored in our lifetime.

Olanrewaju, a former Member of Provisional Ruling Council (PRC) and General Officer Commanding, 3 Division Nigerian Army, is a the Alternate Chairman, Board of Trustees (BOT) of De Renaissance Patriots Foundation.
