Akure Muslim Community ends 1438AH Ramadan Tafsir with prayers for President Buhari, Sultan Abubakar III, Nigeria, Nigerians

The agelong Akure Muslim Community (AMC), on Thursday, rounded up its daily Ramadan Tafsir for this year on a good note as it went beyond the usual spiritual diets to also lubricating the entire fabrics of the Nigerian system with supplications, particularly asking Allah to grant President Muhammadu Buhari a quick recovery, build Nigeria into a great, peaceful and united nation and cleanse Nigerian people of hate and sentimental behaviours.

The event was also used to pray for the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General, Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, over his efforts at ensuring, not only that Nigerian regardless of religious and ethnic backgrounds relate well among themselves but also, that they are united as one family in peace and harmony for the peace, security and development of Nigeria.

Giving the spiritual diet and prayers at the roundup ceremony held at the ultramodern Akure Central Mosque, Ojo Oba in the state capital was the Chief Tafsir of Akure Land and Imam of Ondo State Government House Akure, Sheikh Moshood Raji Kewuyemi.

Supported by the Grand Imam of Akure Land Sheikh Abdul Hakeem Yayi Akorede, Leader of Tijaniyyah Ondo State, Sheikh Raji Kewuyemi, Arowaasi Agba of Akure Land, Alhaji Idris Yesufu Ilemobola and former Chairman Akure Muslim Community and Galadima of Akure Land, Alhaji Kasumu Yesufu Adefaka among others, Sheikh Moshood Kewuyemi urged Nigerians to be fearful of Allah by obeying Him and doing good towards the leadership of state and being considerate towards fellow citizens.

The final Tafsir ceremony was held under the chairmanship of  former Ondo State Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Alhaji Dhikrullahi Basaru and was graced by prominent Muslims in Akure among others.
