NASC confirms Tambuwal as Clerk, Kamoru Deputy Clerk
The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has confirmed Magaji Tambuwal as the new clerk to the National Assembly (NASS).
Tambuwal’s confirmation was approved at the 573rd Meeting of the Commission held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
A statement by the Director of Public Affairs of the commission, Mrs. Janet Mambula, made available to newsmen on Wednesday, said the confirmation takes immediate effect.
In the same vein, the commission confirmed Ogunlana Kamoru Esq. as the deputy clerk to the National Assembly.
Magaji Tambuwal
The commission had appointed Tambuwal and Kamoru as Acting CNA and DCNA, respectively on 18th November 2022.
“The National Assembly Service Commission has confirmed the appointment of Magaji Tambuwal as the Clerk to the National Assembly.
“His confirmation was approved at the 573rd meeting of the commission held on Wednesday 29th March 2023.”
They take over from Mr. Amos Ojo and Mr. Bala Yabani who retired as the clerk and Deputy clerk of the National Assembly.
Prior to his new appointment, Tambuwal was the secretary of the Directorate of Finance and Accounts in the NASC.
