“Well, this is just women of Lagos East Senatorial District noiselessly showing some love for Jagaban. Men and Youth are not included. Politics is not for naive, inexperienced cruise chasers,” Uche Diala

It was a mammoth crowd experience in Lagos on Monday when an all women match across Lagos East Senatorial District matched to show that the “so-called one-million match that is not truly one-million being bragged in the Centre of Excellence – built and has been maintained by All Progressives Congress (APC) from its days as Alliance for Democracy (AD), Action Congress (AC) and Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) – is no more than a mere keyboard show”.

Some of the women made their signature committing to the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima Project 2023 as well as that of Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu to continue as Governor of Lagos State beyond 2023.

With the mere test of microphone in Lagos, Obedients have allegedly started to chicken out just like what, in Yoruba incantation, is said, “If light enters a room, darkness disappears”.

This is evident in some of the posts that the Obedients resorted, in less than 24 hours, to making about the strength of APC not only in Lagos but everywhere.

One of them simply called OTUNBA @ManLikeIcey, who took to the same Twitter where the Peter Obi Movement has been impressing that its candidate has all the supports that are politically possible in Nigeria’s 2023 process, failed to control his fear of the APC.

“Time for us Obedients to restrategize, that all women camp for Tinubu in Lagos is worrisome,” he said in the Monday October 3, 2022 tweet.

As for the APC’s untiring supporters since the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign of 2014 enroute 2015, they have renewed the same zeal in 2022 enroute 2023 with a stamp of “re-invigorated confidence” to #StandWithAPC and Tinubu-Shettima.

One of them that spoke to The DEFENDER said, “Whatever they claim Nigeria has become in the negative is only in their own wishful thinking. Yes, things are not as rosy as we humanly we want them to be, how are they caused by APC that, undisputably, remains the best in real, good governance performance in the 23 years of Fourth Republic Democracy?

“These same foes, who should be reasonably patriotic citizens but have refused to be, know that by global consideration Nigeria under APC is still one of the best in terms of ease of social and economic standing. But for the reason of their selfishness, they cook the idea of ‘Nigeria is hard’, ‘Nigerians are running to UK, America and Canada’, ‘Unger in the land’, as if those countries, touted to be developed as they are, white in the skin as they are, discipline by claim as they are, are easier to live in than in Nigeria.

“Recently one of their controversy brewers, Ayisatu Yesufu, cried out to say on her daughter schooling in the UK, she pays £250 energy cost on monthly basis. That is, on the average, N200,000 per month being that she finances such already hard UK living standard with the same Nigerian economy they labour hard to destroy here in Nigeria. It bounces back on them just the West sanctions intended for the destruction of Russia turns round daily to be their own nightmare hence the hardship Yesufu cries over in the UK.

“I can continue but we have only tested the microphone for today. Let’s keep the rest till when the band stand will become fully activated,” the enthusiastic APC supporter, who said no need to know his name, said.

Another sign of fear that has gripped the Obedients was seen in the tweet by Fakhrriyyah @FakhuusHashim, who said, “If PDP and Labour do not form a coalition, Tinubu will be our next President! We are in the gutters ladies and gentlemen, accept it or revel in your deception.”

At the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan main bow, Governor Sanwo-Olu, who also walked with a crowd led by his wife, met with the exceptionally huge women crowd that crashed into the limit of sitting capacity of the stadium.

Addressing the crowd, the ostensibly enthusiastic Sanwo-Olu, after a Buga Dance, loud the volume when, code-mixing, he said in apparent reference to the Obedients that, “Eetii po to. E lo wa kunrayin” meaning that they were not many enough and should go and recruit more to their small numbers.

Responding to the Lagos show of political power on Sunday, Dr Uche Diala wrote: “#WeAintStartedYet”.

He said, “When I read them shouting “Lagos is taken”, “Lagos is locked down” because a couple of thousands of Labour Party supporters locked their shops to march for a presidential candidate on a day the rest of Nigeria was celebrating Nigeria’s independence, I asked them: Could they imagine what would happen if Tinubu supporters decided to march in Lagos?

“Well, this is just women of Lagos East Senatorial District noiselessly showing some love for Jagaban. Men and Youth are not included oo.

“Politics is not for naive, inexperienced cruise chasers.

“Crowds don’t win elections. Strategy backed with verifiable records and achievements do.

“#BATKSM2023, #WeMove,” he said in a post he made on Monday.

These were going on even as another bomb shell dropped by Fr Ejike Mbaka in his message before he left to #Monastery and he predicted.

“Rain that is beating a stone is only bathing the stone. My prophecy stands unchallenged and will come to pass.

“I will respect the mother church, I’m going to the monastery but if Mr. Peter Obi is not disgraced at the polls come 2023, then I’m not called by God”, Ejike Mbaka said in new prophecy.

In the meantime, congratulatory messages continued to pour in for Madam Due Process, Lauretta Onochie Sunday, as supporters saluted her on her appointment as Deputy National Coordinator of APC Presidential Women’s Campaign Team head as grand patron by First Lady Aisha Buhari with Oluremi Tinubu and Hajia Shettima as Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively.
