Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) and the entire Akeredolu family, have been sympathised with by the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, over the demise of their matriarch, Lady Evangelist Grace Akeredolu, at a ripe age of 90.
According to a media report, this condolence was made via a statement personally signed by the Akure monarch.
In the statement, Oba Aladelusi said that “though it is painful that mama had to leave us, it is however worth celebrating because she had left to join the triumphant saints.”
The Deji, who is the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas, described the late Lady Evang. Akeredolu’s life as an enviable one for being a pillar and true reflection of a worthy disciple of Jesus both in words and character.
Madam Akeredolu, the Oba Aladelusi continued, was no doubt a devoted Christian leader in all ramifications, adding that she epitomised the Godly character of a virtuous woman during her life time.
Oba Aladoyinbo urged Governor Akeredolu, his siblings, the deceased family and friends to take heart as it has pleased God to take Mama away to himself in a better place.
The monarch prayed God to be with the family and grant Mama eternal rest.
