“I had the opportunity of playing with ‘wonder-boy’ Hamilton as a young player before proceeding to Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in 1967. He was a skilful schemer, sensible dribbler and prolific goal scorer. Nigeria has missed a brainy soccer maestro. My condolences to his family,” General Olanrewaju said.

Chief Paul Hamilton, who also coached the Super Falcons, died at the military hospital on Thursday at the age of 75.
