Igboho finally docked in Beninoise court

Yoruba tribalist fighter, Sunday Adeyemo a.k.a. Sunday Igboho, has been arraigned before Cour De’appal De Cotonou, Republic of Benin.

Update showed that Igboho, who was arraigned on Thursday, was brought to court with his wife, whose release was ordered by the court.

Igboho was, however, remanded as the court ruled that he should be returned to custody while it adjourned till Friday.

An official said, “They just finished from the court. The wife is to be released this night and Sunday is to remain in custody. The matter was adjourned till Friday.’’

The DEFENDER gathered that Igboho is undergoing trial for obtaining a fake Beninoise international passport in Cotonou, the economic and administrative nerve centre of the Republic of Benin, which is believed to be that he risks being jailed for 22 years if convicted, before facing an extradition trial.

Recalls that Sunday Igboho was awaiting his fate at the Cour De’appal De Cotonou, Republic of Benin, following his arraignment by the authorities of the Francophone country for immigration-related offences.

Igboho was taken to court on Thursday afternoon.

Igboho and his wife, Ropo, a German citizen, were arrested at Cardinal Bernardin International Airport, Cotonou, as they attempted to board a flight to Germany on Monday night.
