Zamfara Police bans all forms of gatherings, processions, night parties
The Zamfara State Police Command has banned all forms of gatherings across the state.
This decision it said was taken in view of the prevailing security situation, coupled with the threat by Boko Haram and other criminal elements to destabilise the relative peace being enjoyed in the state.
The State Police Command therefore called for all hands to be on deck to normalise the current security concerns across board.
This was according to a statement obtained by The DEFENDER, issued and signed by SP Mohammed Shehu, who is the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
“Consequently, all forms of meetings, processions, partying and all forms of gatherings by all manners of people in the state have been banned until further notice.
“The Command seeks for continued support and cooperation of all and sundry.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Usman Nagogo psc+ wishes the good people of Zamfara state a well secured environment that will boost the socio-economic situation of the state,” SP Shehu said in the state he signed on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.
