Buhari performs Armed Forces Remembrance Day function with CJN Onnoghen, others
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, participated at the Wreath Laying to mark the end of the 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebrations.
The function, held at the National Arcade, Eagle Square Abuja, was also attended by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representative Yakubu Dogara and the embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Honourable Justice Walter Samuel Onnoghen.
Others who were at the event with the President include the Ministers of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Alhaji Muhammed Bello, Defence Brigadier General Mansur Dan-Alli, Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, Chief of Air Staff Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Sadique, Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok-Ete and outgoing Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Alhaji Ibrahim Kpotun Idris, who later handed over same Tuesday to a new Inspector General of Police as he retired, among others.
