6 of 37 ships expected at Apapa, Tin Can Island Ports bear petrol, 31 food, other products – NPA

Six of 37 ships said to be expected to berth at the Ports of Apapa and Tin Can Island in Lagos, Nigeria’s economic nerve centre bear petroleum products while 31 others will come in with food and other products.

This was made known by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), which said the 37 ships will begin to arrive from December 10 to 29, 2018.

Precisely, the 31 other ships are carrying buckwheat, general cargo, ethanol, aviation fuel, steel, diesel, sugar, butane gas, frozen fish and containers carrying different goods.

According to the NPA, 14 ships have arrived the ports and are waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, diesel and petrol.
