Signed by the convener, Mr. Waheed Seriki, President of Canada-based Crusade Against Corruption and Indiscipline Initiative (CACINI), the statement noted that Kwara State people were determined to elect Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazag as the governor of the state in 2019 and also ensure All Progressive Congress win all the elections in the state.

“Kwarans have already made up their mind to give the affairs of the harmony state to APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulrazaq and ensure there will no more be room for ‘robot governor’ that will be operating like a machine that will be remotely manipulated and constantly controlled by embattled and confused Senate President Bukola Saraki.

“Kwarans said come next election, the Harmony State will not be different from other states in Nigeria that are always freely elect their candidates to political posts. They are fully prepared to end Saraki’s indirect rule through his surrogate or delegated governor,” he said.

The group said people of Kwara State believe that electing Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq will free the state from Saraki’s dynasty that, for long has subjected the people to modern slavery and bondage.

“The agents of freedom in Kwara State are gunning for freeing the state from Saraki’s captivity and modern slavery under the leadership of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.

“Therefore they are set to roll out their campaign machinery for the incoming elections on Sunday, December 1, 2018 and unveil the manifesto that will transform Kwara State into modern state that will give the people the long awaited opportunity to elect their preferred candidate, Abdulrazaq, not a candidate chosen and imposed on them by Bukola Saraki. “The 2019 election in Kwara State will be different from the previous one that has been taking place in the state, in which Bukola Saraki’s surrogate and anointed candidate becomes governor because Kwarans already made up their mind to vote for Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, a successful businessman with a wealth of economic experience to give hope to hopeless Kwarans and transform Kwara into modern state.”
