2019: Sowore to launch 20 mega town-halls, rallies in 100 city tour
*As Campaign Organisation releases calendar of activities

As date for the commencement of political campaigns scheduled by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) matured on Sunday November 18, 2018, the Presidential Candidate, African Action Congress (AAC), Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has announced his decision to kick-start his own activities on Thursday November 22, 2018 in Lagos.
According to a statement signed by Director General of the Sowore/Rufai 2019 Campaign Organisation, Dr. Malcom Fabiyi, Mr. Sowore and his running mate, Dr. Rabiu Ahmed Rufai, are now set to hold “20 mega twon-halls and rallies in a 100 city tour” with a view to selling their policy plan to Nigerians in order to get their votes in the February 2019 presidential election.
Whereas the presidential candidate, sowore, is successfully an online newspaper publisher and proprietor contributing to effective journalism for the upliftment of country Nigeria, his running mate, Rufai, is a public health expert with track record of achievements.

According to Fabiyi, “the program will span the next three months spreading the TakeItBack message as aggressively as possible” through “Rallies, Town Halls, Grassroots Mobilization Efforts (G.E.T) and a Diaspora Electoral Empowerment Project”.
He thanked the efforts of all members and supporters of the TakeItBack Movement who have “come to hear and accept Sowore’s message of national transformation and progress” while calling on Nigerians to be a part of the “Transformation caravan in their villages, cities, states and zones”.
The series of events as contained in the document will start with a Mass Rally in Lagos in the early hours of Thursday November 22, 2018.
