Kwara APC will reclaim their mandate transferred to PDP by Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed – Seriki
The people of Kwara State are already prepared to vote en-mass for All Progressive Congress (APC) in the next year election in their state, so as to transfer the administration of the state back to the APC by ensuring the victory of APC governorship candidate in the 2019 election, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and also ensure President Muhammadu Buhari is given a landslide victory against Alhaji Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 presidential election.
These were the words of some Kwara State indigenes members of the Canada-based Crusade Against Corruption and Indiscipline in Nigeria (CACINI), who made their position on Kwara politics known to The DEFENDER on Tuesday.
They believe that Kwara people did not vote for PDP in 2015 but voted for APC and therefore were disappointed that Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed transferred the mandate to PDP the wrong party, on instructions of his paymaster, Bukola Saraki.
According to a letter signed on behalf of the Kwara-Nigerians in Diaspora (Canada), by Mr. Waheed Sariki and emailed to us, the Kwarans abroad said the people of Kwara State have, this time, determined to free themselves from Bukola Saraki’s bondage and give the responsibility to of transformation into modern state of Kwara to the APC governorship candidate in the incoming election in the state.
“Kwarans have realized that continued control and manipulation of their state have created unbearable damages and disaster to the social, economic and infrastructural development of the state.
“Workers in Kwara State were not being paid their monthly salaries for the past eleven months. There is little or no economic and infrastructural development in the state and Kwara State is one of the most backward states in Nigeria, despite the fact that the state receives monthly allocation from the Federal Government like other states in the country.
“We strongly determine and believe that electing executive governor to manage the affairs of the state in collaboration with other members of the Kwara State community is the only alternative to rebuild and revive the state rather than voting for the executive surrogate appointed by Bukola Saraki to champion the management of the state in 2019.
“Kwara people want a governor with independent mind that will display his skills, knowledge, competence and intellectual capability to transform Kwara State into modern state but not a surrogate governor that will be administering the state under the leadership and instruction of the present embattled Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, suffering from Power Hungry Disorder (PHD)
“Freedom of Kwara State from Saraki by Kwarans in 2019 is not negotiable and people of the Harmony State will give their mandate to Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of the All Progressive Congress (APC) as their governor to free the state from modern slavery and bondage,” the message said.
