Governor Ajimobi-led APC National Convention Committee inaugurated

The 21-member National Convention Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been inaugurated in Abuja.

The DEFENDER hard earlier on Saturday reported the National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, would inaugurate the a Governor Abiola Ajimobi-led 21 National Convention Committee of the party the same day.

The committee, as planned, was inaugurated at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja to conduct the Party’s National Convention scheduled to hold on October 6, 2018.

To work with the Oyo State Governor, Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi who is Chairman of the committee, are Governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima as Vice Chairman while the Managing Director of the Nigeria Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala Usman, will be Secretary of the committee.

Other members of the committee are Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, Governor of Imo State, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Governor-elect of Ekiti, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu among others.
