Olubadan Congratulates Sultan of Sokoto at 70, Cherishes Friendship

The Olubadan of Ibadan Land, His Imperial Majesty Oba Senator Rashidi Adewole Ladoja Arusa I, has congratulated the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
The Sultan clocked 70 on Monday, August 24, 2026, with the Olubadan joining numerous Nigerians and well-wishers around the world in celebrating the milestone.
Oba Ladoja, a former Governor of Oyo State, conveyed his felicitations in an exclusive message sent to The DEFENDER on Monday.
The Olubadan described the Sultan as an inspiration to many, while expressing appreciation for their friendship.
