RENEWED HOPE: Tinubu’s wife distributes food to 600 vulnerable groups in Zamfara

The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, has distributed food items to 600 vulnerable groups in Zamfara State under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme.
The outreach, held at the Trade Fair Complex in Gusau, was implemented as part of the initiative’s food support scheme aimed at alleviating hardship among women and children across the country. The First Lady was represented at the event by Wife of the Vice President Nana Shettima.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mrs. Tinubu said the programme was designed to provide relief to vulnerable Nigerians, particularly women and children.
She reaffirmed the commitment of the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to delivering social interventions that improve the welfare of citizens nationwide.
She also commended the wife of the Zamfara State Governor, Huriyya Dauda Lawal, for aligning with federal social investment efforts and supporting initiatives aimed at easing the burden on residents of the state.
In her remarks, Hajiya Huriyya Dauda Lawal welcomed guests to the event and expressed appreciation to the First Lady for what she described as a laudable initiative that continues to bring hope and relief to families across Nigeria.
She also thanked Nana Shettima for representing the First Lady, noting that her presence underscored the growing impact of the Renewed Hope Initiative.
Lawal further acknowledged the contributions of members of the Renewed Hope Initiative for their dedication to improving the lives of Nigerians. She also appreciated the wives of Northern governors who attended the event in solidarity.
