Israel admits Iran’s capabilities as Foreign Minister says its missile range 4000 not 2000
In a statement, the minister claimed that Tehran had previously maintained its missiles were limited to a range of about 2,000 kilometers. However, he alleged that Iran recently targeted a United States asset in Diego Garcia using an advanced missile with a range of up to 4,000 kilometers.
Israel’s foreign minister Gideon Sa’ar has accused Iran of misleading the international community about the true range of its missile capabilities.
In a statement, the minister claimed that Tehran had previously maintained its missiles were limited to a range of about 2,000 kilometers.
However, he alleged that Iran recently targeted a United States asset in Diego Garcia using an advanced missile with a range of up to 4,000 kilometers.
According to the Israeli official, such a capability would extend Iran’s reach far beyond the Middle East, potentially putting major European capitals—including London, Paris, and Berlin—within striking distance if launched from Tehran.
He warned that the development represents not just a regional concern but a broader global security issue.
Iranian authorities have not yet responded publicly to the allegation, and the claims have not been independently verified.
