Iran calls for ‘Trump’s blood’ after U.S. sinks Iranian warship

A senior Iranian cleric has called for the “shedding of Donald Trump’s blood” after a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship in the Indian Ocean, escalating tensions amid the ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States.
Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli made the remarks during a broadcast on Iranian state television, urging retaliation against the United States and Israel following the destruction of the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena. The attack reportedly killed dozens of sailors and drew strong condemnation from Iranian officials.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described the strike as an “atrocity at sea,” warning that Washington would “bitterly regret” the action and accusing the United States of attacking the vessel without warning while it was in international waters.
The sinking of the warship is part of a broader military campaign by the United States and its allies targeting Iranian military infrastructure. The escalating conflict has already resulted in hundreds of casualties and increased fears of a wider regional war.
Analysts warn that the cleric’s statement reflects the growing intensity of rhetoric on both sides as military operations continue and diplomatic solutions remain uncertain.
