I could be arrested anytime, says El-Rufai

Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has claimed that he could be arrested at any time by the APC-led Federal Government.
El-Rufai made the allegation during an interview with the BBC Hausa Service, amid the ongoing trial of former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
The former governor, now a prominent figure in the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC), accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of mounting pressure on politicians to defect to the party or remain within its fold.
He also alleged that some of his former associates in Kaduna had been detained.
“Four people we worked with in Kaduna have been arrested; so it’s only a matter of time before they come for me too,” he said.
There has been no official response from the Federal Government or the APC regarding the allegations.
