Shehu further alleged that Tinubu expressed no remorse over the harm inflicted on civilians in the North and suggested that her stance reflected broader insensitivity toward humanitarian crises in Muslim-majority areas.
Political commentator Mahdi Shehu has accused First Lady Oluremi Tinubu of hostility toward Muslims in Northern Nigeria, following alleged remarks in which she reportedly praised U.S. military strikes in the region.
In a statement circulating on social media, Shehu claimed that the First Lady’s comments showed a lack of empathy for communities affected by violence, particularly those predominantly inhabited by Muslims.
He further alleged that Tinubu expressed no remorse over the harm inflicted on civilians in the North and suggested that her stance reflected broader insensitivity toward humanitarian crises in Muslim-majority areas.
Neither the Presidency nor the Office of the First Lady has officially responded to the allegations at the time of this report.
