ONDO NORTH: Engr Micheal Adeyanju distributes Christmas rice across 72 wards in Senatorial District

Engineer Micheal Abayomi Adeyanju, Director General of Imole Progressive Network (IPN), has distributed bags of rice across all 72 wards in Ondo State’s Northern Senatorial District as part of a humanitarian gesture ahead of the Christmas celebration, bringing relief and festive cheer to residents across the zone.

The distribution exercise, which covered the six local governments of Ondo North, was carried out through the LG coordinators and secretaries of the Imole Progressive Network (IPN) covering all the ward levels, to ensure that support reached households at the grassroots.
Beneficiaries included vulnerable families, community members, youths, women groups, and the elderly.
Speaking during the outreach, the handlers delivered Engr. Adeyanju’s message saying the initiative was “motivated by the spirit of Christmas, which emphasises love, sharing, and compassion.”
He noted that the season provides an opportunity to support one another, especially those facing economic challenges.
Community leaders and beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and thoughtful. Many noted that the rice distribution would help ease the burden on families preparing for the festive season.
Engr. Adeyanju, an engineer, philanthropist and development advocate, reiterated his commitment to people-focused initiatives and community development.
He stressed that, “Beyond celebrations, leadership should be defined by empathy, service, and a genuine connection to the people.”
The Christmas goodwill outreach has continued to attract positive reactions across Ondo State, with observers describing it as a unifying effort that reflects the true spirit of the season.
