Imole Progressive Network approves agricultural empowerment for farmers in Ondo

The Imole Progressive Network (IPN), on Thursday, said it has approved an agricultural empowerment programme for farmers in Ondo North Senatorial District area of Ondo State.

IPN is under the leadership of its Director-General, Engineer Michael Abayomi.

The Secretary General of IPN, Hon. Olorunfemi Christopher Ibukun, who disclosed this in a statement said this would start on

November 28 with Ose Local Government.

“The Imole Progressive Network, under the directive of our Director-General, Engineer Michael Abayomi, has approved the agricultural empowerment program for farmers in Ondo North Senatorial District.

He said the programme would commence on November 28th with Ose Local Government and Owo Local Government while the programme continued on December 5th with Akoko South-West and Akoko South-East.

On December 12th, the empowerment will move to Akoko North-West and Akoko North-East.

The statement said all participants will receive cutlasses, chemical pumping machines, agricultural chemicals, maize seeds/other agricultural tools and inputs.

“We urge all coordinators to ensure full participation and proper organization in their respective local governments.”
