Nigeria Muslims’ Leader, Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar, attends Day 3 Ramadan Tafsir in Sokoto

The DEFENDER reports that an erudite Islamic scholar in Sokoto State, Mallam Muhammad Bello Na Mallam Boyi, presented the Tafsirul Qur’an, through which the Sultan receives spiritual upliftment, on Monday that was the third day of Ramadan 1446 AH.

His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar CFR, mni, the Sultan of Sokoto Caliphate and Amirul Mu’mineen of Nigeria, on Monday 3rd day of Ramadan 1446 AH equivalent to 3rd March 2025, attended the Tafsirul Qur’an in fulfilment of one of spiritual activities expected of a fasting Muslim in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The month-long annual event, which features recitation and explanation of its meaning to fasting faithful, holds at the Sultan Muhammadu Bello Jumat Mosque in the Sokoto City of the Caliphate.

The DEFENDER reports that an erudite Islamic scholar in Sokoto State, Mallam Muhammad Bello Na Mallam Boyi, presented the Tafsirul Qur’an, through which the Sultan receives spiritual upliftment, on Monday that was the third day of Ramadan 1446 AH.

The Sultan was accompanied to the Tafsir by top Sultanate Council of Sokoto’s figures including His Royal Highness Professor Sambo Wali Junaidu, who is Wazirin Sokoto and Chairman Religious Affairs Committee of the Sultanate Council, His Royal Highness Alhaji Aliyu Attahiru Galadanci, the Galadima Garin Sokoto and Chairman Sokoto State Water Board.
