Prof Timehin to discuss Sharia implementation at MURIC Lagos Ramadan lecture

Don of Lagos State University in Lagos Nigeria, Prof. Saheed Olurotimi Timehin, will be speaking as chief lecturer at this year’s Ramadan Lecture of Lagos State Chapter of Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC Lagos), on Saturday Ramadan 8, 1446 AH equivalent to March 8, 2025.

Leadership of the foremost Islamic human rights group in the state made this known in an exclusive media interview with The DEFENDER on Sunday March 2, 2025.
According to the MURIC the body, the lecture with topic, “Implementation of Shariah in a Multi-Religious Society: Examining the Rights of Muslims and Non-Muslims”, will be hosted by Prof. Ishaq Lakin Akintola, Founder and Executive Director, MURIC.
This global online newspaper reports that the MURIC’s Ramadan lecture is scheduled to hold in The Hall, Railway Central Mosque, Alagomeji, Ebute Metta, Lagos, at 10:00am on the said Saturday March 8.
