Black day ahead for APC as Primate Ayodele predicts collapse of ruling party from Lagos

Ayodele went on to say that the APC is in danger of disintegrating nationwide, beginning in Lagos State, if its leaders do not confront the situation.
Founder and Spiritual Head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke Afa, Isolo, Lagos State, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has predicted end of the Nigeria’s ruling All Progressive Congress (APC),

The DEFENDER reports that the party, which Major General Muhammadu Buhari’s personality was used to launch into power after ousting the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan-led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from power in the February 25, 2015 presidential election, had consolidated with its ability to win elections despite challenges.
It will be recalled how President Buhari made candidates who ordinarily would not be able to win elections to ascend to offices through the ballot, simply by using his personality as Mr. Integrity at campaign grounds asking people to vote APC candidates because “the vote for them is vote for me”.
Buhari solidified APC until immediately after handing over power to Bola Ahmed Tinubu on May 29, 2023 the party began to dwindle as a result of what many called pocketing of the party by the new president.
Former Kaduna State Governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai confirmed this challenge when he ventilated in his lamentation of APC as a sinking ship that since 2023 May it had held no single meeting.
The overrating of Tinubu by his supporters, otherwise known as BATists, remains the albatross not only of Tinubu and APC but also of the nation as a whole.
The BATists have publicly gloated over their political figure as the master strategist they claimed in the past to have installed President Buhari, a former Military Head of State and former Military Governor of North Eastern State with regularly bundled 12.5 million votes secured for him from 2003 election till 2015, which the newly formed (by merger) APC leveraged upon to achieve the transition in its favour.
Servant of the Lord’s Vineyard and INRI Church Leader, Primate Ayodele, said the APC will be engulfed in a breakage that will begin from Lagos State where the party’s retaining forces disband.
In a statement signed by Osho Oluwatosin, his media assistant, it was said that the APC will transform into something else and that the party will launch a new movement.
He pointed out that it will be a major issue for President Tinubu since he will lose control of the party, which will negatively impact his hopes of winning a second term in 2027.
In his words, “APC will break, and it will start from Lagos. The party will be beyond recognition as those holding the party together will decide to let go because the pressure will be too much.”
“There will be another movement coming out from APC and this will start from Lagos state. President Tinubu will lose his grip on the party in Lagos and nationally, it will be a major problem for the president and if care isn’t taken, this will rub off on his chances in 2027.”
Primate Ayodele added that there will be a lot of drama leading up to 2027 politics, particularly in Lagos State. He clarified that if the party selects the inappropriate candidate for governor, it will split the party’s leadership, including the GAC.
Ayodele went on to say that the APC is in danger of disintegrating nationwide, beginning in Lagos State, if its leaders do not confront the situation.
