85 Nigerians have died from Coronavirus as country’s infections rise by 220 to 2,388

By the general analysis, Lagos remains the epicentre of virus having garnered 1,068 cases, while Kano, which joined the league of affected states barely one week now, has wielded enough number strength to jump to number two position with its latest 313 cases pushing FCT to number three position with 268 cases.

 

The number of Coronavirus case in Nigeria is now 2,388.

This is as posted on the Twitter handle of Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) @NCDCgov Saturday night.

According to the centre, 220 new cases were recorded as at night of Saturday May 2, 2020.

“220 new cases of #COVID19; 62-Lagos 52-FCT 31-Kaduna 13-Sokoto 10-Kebbi 9-Yobe 6-Borno 5-Edo 5-Bauchi 4-Gombe 4-Enugu 4-Oyo 3-Zamfara 2-Nasarawa 2-Osun 2-Ebonyi 2-Kwara 2-Kano 2-Plateau.”

In all the country has “2388 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 385 Deaths: 85.”
