Zamfara PDP denies breaking into factions
By IIBRAHIM KANOMA
The Chairman of Zamfara State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Tukur Maikatako, has denied the existence of factions within the party.
He made the denial while reacting to report of a PDP group, created recently as a faction, membership of which allegedly suspended the current state exco of the party.
He said to the best of his knowledge there was no crisis in the party to warrant any faction within it’s fold.
Maikatako further said that they would take legal action against members found wanting, who are bent on destabilising the party for their own selfish interest.
He commended the effort of the state Governor, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, in carrying all PDP members along without bias, even as he appealed to members to always support government policies and programmes so as to move the state forward.
He commended Governor Matawalle’s giant stride in developing Zamfara State.
